Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

"Company", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Kingsland Fabrications Ltd, registered in England and Wales, with registered office at 46 Melford Ct, Woolston, Warrington WA1 4RZ. "Customer", "you", or "your" refers to the trade or commercial customer placing an order for goods. "Goods" refers to the aluminium products and associated items ordered from us.

2. Trade & Commercial Sales

Kingsland Fabrications is a trade and commercial, supply-only supplier. We supply professional installers, contractors and trade businesses, as well as maintenance companies, facilities and property teams, project teams and other organisations purchasing for business purposes. Where the customer is not the installer, installation must be carried out by the customer's appointed contractor. By placing an order, you confirm that the goods are being purchased for business or commercial project purposes.

3. Quotations & Orders

• All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
• Prices are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed
• Orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by us
• Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled without our written consent
• Bespoke/made-to-measure items cannot be returned or refunded

4. Specifications & Accuracy

The customer is responsible for providing accurate dimensions, specifications, and requirements. We fabricate goods based on the information provided by the customer.

• We recommend customers verify all measurements before placing orders
• We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect customer-supplied information
• Minor variations in colour may occur between batches of powder coating
• Manufacturing tolerances apply as per industry standards

5. Lead Times & Delivery

• Allow approximately 21 working days for general planning
• The quotation confirms the current lead time, its start point, the exact date and any product- or specification-specific exceptions
• Lead times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing
• We shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
• Delivery destination, access and offload arrangements are as stated on the quotation
• Unless agreed otherwise, the customer must provide safe access and suitable people or equipment for offload

6. Payment Terms

• Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date for approved accounts
• New customers may be required to pay in advance or on a pro forma basis
• We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts
• Title to goods remains with us until payment is received in full

7. Inspection & Claims

The customer must inspect goods upon delivery:

• Any damage must be noted on the delivery note and reported within 24 hours
• Claims for shortages or defects must be notified within 7 days of delivery
• Goods must not be installed if damaged or defective
• We cannot accept claims for goods that have been installed

8. Warranty

We provide the following warranties on our products:

• 1 year on hardware and moving parts (closers, hinges, handles, etc.)
• Aluminium profiles and powder coating are warranted against manufacturing defects
• Extended profile warranties are provided by the system manufacturer (Jack Aluminium)
• Warranties are subject to proper installation and maintenance

Warranties do not cover damage caused by physical damage, improper installation, misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or costs of alternative procurement.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, industrial action, or supplier failures.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
