About the RD70 TruEnergy System
The RD70 TruEnergy is a thermally broken aluminium entrance door system with 70mm profiles, designed for new builds, refurbishments, and multi-occupancy developments. U-values of 1.5 W/m²K (0.7 Ug) or 1.7 W/m²K (1.0 Ug) meet Document L 2016 requirements. The system is fabricated from PAS 24 certified profiles with Secured by Design approval, providing enhanced security for residential and commercial entrance applications. Maximum tested dimensions are 1100mm x 2500mm for single doors and 1800mm x 2500mm for double doors. The RD70 accepts 28mm, 36mm, or 44mm glazing units, with a choice of standard or low thresholds for accessibility. Multi-point locking and barrel hinges are fitted as standard, with internally glazed construction for improved security. We fabricate RD70 doors with triple weather seals, concealed or visible drainage, and the full RAL colour range in polyester powder coat.
