About the TD68 System
The TD68 is a thermally broken commercial door system built for high-traffic environments where security, durability, and accessibility are non-negotiable. The 68mm profile depth accommodates glazing from 24mm to 44mm, and the bottom pivot is rated to 250kg — making it suitable for heavy, large-format door leaves up to 1300mm wide and 3000mm tall (tested dimensions). Security credentials include STS202 BR2, PAS 24 testing, and Secured by Design compliance when specified with approved hardware. Side lights and fan lights are also PAS 24 tested. The TD68 supports manual operation with floor springs or pivot sets, and automatic operation with concealed or surface-mounted operators. Hardware options include motorised multipoint locks, electromagnetic locking, three-point locks with TOTAL/LIGHT/FREE access modes, anti-snap cylinders, and concealed panic bar designs. A curved finger guard is standard for safety in public-facing installations. We fabricate TD68 doors with Exova BM TradaQ certification available on request, and finish in single or dual-colour polyester powder coat through a Qualicoat-approved supplier. Every TD68 door is fabricated supply-only and jig-tested in our Warrington workshop before dispatch — a 99% first-fit success rate — then delivered as a complete kit labelled by opening reference for your installer to hang the leaves, fit the panic hardware and commission the operator on site, with no additional parts to source. For commercial door installers and main contractors fitting out a full entrance, the TD68 sits on the Jack Aluminium platform alongside our shopfront, curtain walling and automatic sliding door systems, so a single supplier covers the entire frontage as a coordinated set.

- Why Jig-Tested Aluminium Kits Fit First Time — and What Most Fabricators Skip
Most site callbacks trace back to fabrication errors, not installer skill. Why Kingsland is often slightly more expensive than cut-and-ship fabricators — and why installers accept it for jig-tested, 99% first-time fit kits.
