When Stephen Chappell took over Kingsland Fabrications in 2022, he saw a workshop that could give supply-only customers a clearer handover. After years working in sales for a large installation company, he'd seen how late deliveries, missing parts, poor communication and unresolved quality issues created problems on site.
Taking over Kingsland created the opportunity to connect quotation, engineering, fabrication, checking and dispatch in one Warrington workflow. Elumatec machinery, LogiKal® and EluCAD® support the production information used by the workshop team.
Today the workshop quotes everything from a single surveyed replacement to multi-opening schedules and coordinated aluminium packages. The same principle applies to each order: confirm the scope, fabricate it, check it and hand it over for the appointed team to install.

Send a survey, drawing, opening schedule or product specification. One opening, a repeat batch or a full schedule can all start here.

Confirm product and scope
The quotation records the product, system, finish, glazing, hardware, handover plan and current fabrication lead time.

Fabricate and check
The order is made in Warrington against the approved information, then given the checks appropriate to that product before dispatch.

Collect or arrange delivery
Choose collection or an agreed delivery to site. Repeat and staged supply can be planned around the order where required.
Digitally-Driven Fabrication
Elumatec CNC machinery handles programmed cutting and punching in the Warrington workshop. Take-offs and cut lists are prepared in LogiKal® and EluCAD® before the approved production information is routed to the equipment.
Production tracking follows the order from enquiry to dispatch. Workshop checks are recorded before the fabricated scope moves to wrapping, labelling and collection or delivery.

Quality Assurance
Orders are checked against the approved customer specification before dispatch. Swing doors are assembled and function-checked on the workshop jig before dispatch. This is workshop fabrication QC, not standards or certification testing. For windows and other opening products, our fabricators check the specified hardware operation, weatherseals and alignment.
This demonstration shows a completed frame being tested on our jig table — verifying tilt function, turn operation and seal engagement. A failed check is corrected before the order moves to dispatch.
Where specified, units are also glazed and beaded in our workshop, with the supplied scope recorded before the order is wrapped and labelled for site.

Dispatch & Delivery
Every fabricated order is wrapped for protection and can be labelled by opening reference where supplied and agreed. Where specified, units arrive glazed and beaded — no site glazing required. Gaskets, beads and fixings are included as stated on the quotation and order detail.
We deliver from Warrington to trade sites throughout mainland Britain with a network of trusted carriers. Allow approximately 21 working days for general planning. The quotation confirms the current lead time, its start point, the exact date, any product- or specification-specific exceptions and the delivery arrangement.
